Uma Srikumaran returned to Johns Hopkins from Harvard (Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital), where he completed a fellowship in shoulder/elbow surgery. Dr. Srikumaran first joined Johns Hopkins as a medical student before completing his residency with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Specializing in shoulder surgeries, Dr. Srikumaran treats patients with rotator cuff disease, shoulder pain, injuries, instability or dislocations, fractures, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or bicep pain. He also sees patients with sports injuries, including tendonitis and ligament injuries. His surgical expertise includes rotator cuff repair, joint replacement, shoulder stability operations, capsular release, revision or failed surgery, total shoulder and reverse shoulder replacements, and clavicle and shoulder fracture fixation.

Dr. Srikumaran currently sees patients at his office on the Howard County General Hospital campus, at Green Spring Station, and at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Odenton.
