Pediatrics

Welcome to the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics

Thank you for visiting the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics at the University of Johns Hopkins. Here you will find information on the surgeons that make up our team. There is also a section for patients that will teach you about common conditions seen in the Outpatient Center and prepare you for clinic visits (also translated into Spanish). For patients needing to undergo surgery, a brief guide walks you though the basic steps, from the pre-op evaluation through the final follow-up visit.

The Physcians

Our team is made up of our four pediatric orthopaedic surgeons who are specialists in the field.

Paul D. Sponseller, M.D., Professor and Chief, Pediatric Division
Michael C. Ain, M.D., Assistant Professor
Arabella Leet, M.D., Assistant Professor
M. Catherine Sargent, M.D., Associate Professor

Patients

The Pediatric Orthopaedic Patient Page has been designed to give you a whole host of information to help arrange a clinic visit, teach you about some of the common conditions that we treat and see on a daily basis, and guide you through surgery at Johns Hopkins.
