Johns Hopkins Orthopaedic Surgery Division of Oncology
Sometimes tumors or tumor-like conditions show up in bone and soft tissues of the musculoskeletal system. Orthopaedic oncologists are medical doctors / surgeons who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors of bone and soft tissue.
At Johns Hopkins we use a multidisciplinary team approach to diagnose, and treat patients who come to us for care.
We have both adult and pediatric medical oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, diagnostic radiologists, radiotherapy and plastic surgeons who weekly consult together to create a well-informed treatment plan for our patients.
