Where to Live

The Johns Hopkins Medical Campus is in East Baltimore on Broadway just North of Fells Point, approximately one mile north of the waterfront. Many residents live in the neighborhoods near the hospital, including Harbor East, Fells Point, Canton, Butcher’s Hill, Mount Vernon and Federal Hill. These neighborhoods each offer a plethora of recreational opportunities, from kayaking and dog parks to farmer’s markets to a cultural district.

Many residents with families live outside the city in Baltimore County. The Baltimore County public schools are excellent and the Hopkins’ hospitals are a short commute away. The towns of White Marsh and Towson are both approximately 20 minutes north of Baltimore and easily accessible by I-95 to the East Baltimore and Bayview Campuses.
